Volunteer for Pride
We are currently recruiting for volunteer directors with qualifications in HR, finance and governance to join the board of Dublin LGBTQ Pride CLG. To find out more click here
Dublin Pride has a small team of employed staff, however without the support and hard work of our many loyal and dedicated volunteers it would not be possible to carry out the work we do and deliver one of the biggest festivals in the country. Volunteering with Dublin Pride is a great way to support the LGBTQI+ community and play your part in championing diversity and equality. There are a number of ways you can volunteer with us.
Parade & Festival Volunteers
Just a few hours of your time on parade day makes all the difference, not only does your help ensure the smooth running of our Pride Parade & March, it ensures that it remains a truly community event. You don’t need any previous experience to volunteer as a steward at Dublin Pride, our partners, Volunteer Ireland, will provide training in advance and be there to support you on the day.

In addition to the main Pride Festival in June and Winter Pride, we run a variety of community events every month, support regional Prides across the country and are involved in campaigning on LGBTQI+ issues. If you have a particular skill that can help us or a passion for Pride and are able to make a time commitment of 4 – 5 hours per month (more during festival season) and would like to be part of our core volunteer team, get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Board of Directors
We are a not for profit company that is governed by a volunteer board of directors. If you have qualifications or experience in the areas of community leadership, advocacy, finance, legal (governance), HR or event management and are interested in joining our board contact email@example.com Board positions only arise from time to time and are voted on by the members of the company, if this is something you are interested in, joining our core volunteer team is a great first step.
