Pride AA Meeting
We all love Pride and the events can be full of fun and laughter. For those of us with alcohol issues however, Pride events can be testing. There is an opportunity for anyone who may have a concern about their drinking to come to an open public meeting of the LGBT Group of Alcoholics Anonymous at Outhouse Capel Street on Friday 28th June at 8 pm.
At these Outhouse events, members of AA who are LGBT will talk about their experience and the tools they learned along the way in dealing with alcohol. Their stories are very inspiring and worth listening to.
The meeting is free of charge and all are welcome to come along. The meeting is open to all.
AA – Alcoholics Anonymous is a worldwide fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other in a bid to solve their problem and help others recover from alcoholism.
The Outhouse LGBT Resource Center Group meetings of AA happen each week on Monday, Friday and Sunday nights. Live and Let Live Meetings in Eustace Street occur each Saturday and Wednesday evenings.
