SUMMARY:Yes+10 Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:In May 2015\, Ireland made history with the passage of the Marriage Equality referendum\, a defining moment for the LGBTQ+ community and a powerful message to the world about Ireland’s commitment to equality. As we mark 10 years since this momentous victory\, YES+10: The Journey Continues invites the LGBTQ+ community to reflect\, celebrate\, and look forward. \n\n\n\nThis collaborative installation at Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre will feature a visual timeline of the journey\, from campaigning for equality to the joy of weddings\, families\, and lives transformed. Through photos\, memorabilia\, letters\, and personal stories submitted by the community\, the exhibit will showcase the positive impact of marriage equality while reigniting the passion that fueled the fight for justice. \n\n\n\nThe display will honour the ten years since the referendum passed\, while encouraging a conversation about the work still to be done. What’s next for equality\, and how can we continue to build a more inclusive future? YES+10 will serve as both a celebration of how far we’ve come and a call to action for the road ahead.
