Mother Pride Block Party 2020 Announced

On Saturday 27 June, Mother is back with a bang and partnering once again with Dublin LGBTQ Pride as the official post-parade party. Taking place in the historic grounds of the National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks – we’re bringing you the biggest Pride production Dublin has ever seen.

Get tickets for this event by following this link.

Starting out as a spontaneous street party outside Mother, the Pride Block Party grew year on year. Each time gaining in popularity, from that small cobbled street outside our original club to Meeting House Square then a move to the Tivoli Theatre and now our beautiful home at the National Museum of Ireland, we’ve come a long way in the past decade and we’ve done it’ all for the love of our community and the joy of throwing a party that is a queer, inclusive and super fun space for LGBT+ people and our allies. The Mother team identifies as a chosen family and that’s grown in the past ten years with thanks to the people who come party with us and make our work the best in the world.

We can’t wait to swing open those 300-year-old gates and flood the festival venue with inclusivity, joy & pride. We’re installing two stages, tonnes of bars, super tasty food stalls, activations, art installations & much more (not to mention a few surprises are thrown in!)

Grab tickets now, join us after the parade and get ready for the mother of all parties.

Keep those eyes peeled as we’ll be revealing our exciting line-up very soon, watch this space!

BLOCK PARTY: 4pm – 11pm. Tickets on sale NOW.

Saturday June 27th 2020. It’s Pride!

Dublin City. We’ll be confirming the route in early 2020 but we can guarantee it will be going down O’Connell Street. It’s Pride!

Is it a Parade or a March?

It’s both and more. It’s a protest, a celebration, a show of solidarity. It’s Pride!

Is it Free?

Yes, it’s one of the country’s biggest free events. It’s Pride!

Do I need to Register?

No, you can rock up on the day and join in. You can can watch from the side and cheer people on, you can join in and march some or all of the route or you can do a mixture of both. It’s Pride!

But, do groups need to Register?

Yes, tens of thousands of people take part in Dublin Pride and we can’t have everyone turning up in the same space at the same time, that would be madness. We have a number of designated assembly zones to help distribute crowds safely and to ensure we move at the right time and in the right order. It’s Pride!

Community Groups go First!

If you’re a community group, charity or not for profit group that supports the LGBTQ+ community we want you at the front. There’s no fee to enter but we do need you to register. You’re the star of this show and if we can help make your entry amazing, just ask. It’s Pride!
